Starting in 2023 EW may be closed on certain Monday holidays. We must be able to empty our trucks whenever we run routes so this decision ultimately depends on whether a dump facility will be open on a particular holiday. Unfortunately the dump site we've always used  on Monday holidays for many years has recently changed its policies & hours so we can't predict or know for certain whether they'll be open or not.

- We always update our VM with schedule changes but " when in doubt put your cart out".

We all love the convenience of front door drop-offs that Amazon and other delivery services offer but it's led to a major increase in the amount of weekly cardboard. In addition to a full weekly cart we will also take 4-6 inches of broken down/stacked boxes each week. Cardboard doesn't break down very well vs household garbage so large amounts "jam up" the truck's compactor which reduces the number of possible garbage pickups per load. We must be somewhat strict on this rule so cardboard must be limited or pieced out each week.

A Special Pickup can be scheduled to knock out large quantities in one trip but be advised that there's a separate charge for our driver's time, making trips to you and the disposal site, fuel, disposal fees, etc. Customers should text a few photos to our office # ( once boxes are broken down/stacked ) to help us determine a ballpark quote/how many trips needed and we typically require at least 3-4 days notice for scheduling.
